What is Connotea Explorer and how can I use it ?

Connotea is a free online reference management service. It allows you to save links to all your favourite articles, references, websites and other online resources with one click. Connotea is also a social bookmarking tool, so you can view other people's collections to discover new, interesting content. Connotea explorer is a java web start application exploring the database using a treemap algorithm to display the data

"Connotea Explorer" was modified using information given by B. Lund

The exploration is started either by browsing a connotea user or a tag. Each Tag is then displayed in a panel which dimension is proportional to the tag usage. The list of the papers/references is showed on the right side of the screen

Clicking on a tag highlights its linked tag and its papers

Double Clicking on a tag starts the exploration of this tag

Double Clicking on a user starts the exploration of this user

geotagged tag are displayed on a world map (experimental)
