Run Connotea Client (BETA)
Requires JAVA Webstart 1.4

Or use the following command line: javaws http://www.urbigene.com/conclient/conclient.jnlp

This software may not work anymore as connotea now sometimes asks for a word identification when inserting a new bookmark

What is Connotea Client and how can I use it ?

Connotea is a free online reference management service. It allows you to save links to all your favourite articles, references, websites and other online resources with one click. Connotea is also a social bookmarking tool, so you can view other people's collections to discover new, interesting content. Connotea Client is a java web start application. It fetches scientific articles from NCBI PUBMED using the exploring the EUtils tools and then allow to insert tags into connotea for each article

The program starts by asking the user's login and password in connotea

Then a standard pubmed query is performed: articles are downloaded

Double Clicking on an article open the Connotea dialog. Eatch MESH tag (if it exist) is added to the default tag list

Double Clicking on a word in the abstract adds this word in the tags list (on UNIX, seems not to work on windows)

making a selection using the Ctrl key add the selection into the tags list

A geotagged position can be added
